Facial Expressions in Relational Contexts
In this line we develop coding studies (using FACS methodology) and decoding studies (using Poser software and Thin slices methodology), in the following contexts:
Facial Expressions of Pain: simulated, spontaneous and inhibited expressions, gender differences, social function of pain smile.
Smile in clinical contexts: The social function of smile and sense of empathy.
Smile and decison making in organizational contexts: coherence of smile, types of smile and decision making.
Facial expressions and leadership: facial expressions, perceived competence and political elegibility
